1. Who we are

This website is operated by WebOptiFuse LLP ("we", "us", "our"), an Indian limited liability partnership. Ur Business Finance is a brand of WebOptiFuse LLP, and this policy covers everything you submit through the Ur Business Finance website.

Ur Business Finance is a matching service. We are not a lender, a credit provider or a finance broker, and we do not provide credit assistance, financial product advice or legal advice. What we do is collect a small amount of information about you and your business and introduce you to an independent business finance specialist who can compare lenders on your behalf. This distinction matters for your privacy, because it means your information is passed to a third party. Section 5 explains exactly how.

We offer this service to Australian businesses, so we treat ourselves as bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), which reach an overseas organisation that carries on business in Australia and collects personal information here. Where you provide information about a business rather than an individual, parts of the Privacy Act may not apply, but we handle all information you give us in line with this policy regardless.

We operate from India. Because WebOptiFuse LLP is based in Pune, the information you submit is received, stored and handled in India as well as in Australia. Section 10 sets out what that means for you.

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to match you with a suitable specialist.

InformationWhy we need it
What the finance is for, the approximate amount, and whether it is for business useTo match you with a specialist who works with the right kind of lender
Whether the business has an ABN or ACN, how long it has traded, its state and average monthly turnoverLenders assess businesses on these factors, so the specialist needs them to know which lenders to compare
Business name and ABN (where you select it from the Australian Business Register lookup)To identify the business correctly and save the specialist re-asking
Whether you own property, and your own description of your credit historySome lenders offer different options to property owners or depending on credit history. This is self-reported; we do not access your credit file
Name, email address, mobile numberSo the specialist can contact you, and so we can confirm your enquiry
Mobile verification record: that a one-time code was sent to your number, and whether it was entered correctlyTo confirm the number is correct and belongs to you, so no one is called on a wrong or mistyped number
Consent record: which boxes you ticked, the wording shown, and the timeTo evidence your consent to be contacted and to have your details passed on
Technical data: IP address, browser, device, referring page, campaign parameters such as utm_sourceSecurity, fraud prevention, and understanding which advertising works

We do not collect bank statements, financial statements, tax file numbers, identity documents or login credentials through this website, and you should never send them to us. If the specialist you are matched with needs information of that kind, they will collect it from you directly under their own privacy policy and their own licence obligations.

We do not carry out credit checks. Nothing you submit through this website is sent to a credit reporting body by us, and completing the match check does not affect your credit score.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

3. How we collect it

4. Why we collect it

If you do not provide the information requested in our forms, we will not be able to match you with a specialist.

5. Who we share it with

This is the most important section of this policy, so please read it.

Independent business finance specialists

When you submit an enquiry, we disclose the information you gave us to one or more independent business finance specialists so that they can contact you about finance options for your business. That is the entire purpose of this service, and by ticking the consent box and submitting the form you consent to that disclosure.

Once your information reaches that specialist, they become responsible for it under their own privacy policy, not this one. They are a separate business operating under their own licence or authorisation. We do not control how they store or use your information, and we recommend you read their privacy policy when they contact you. The specialist may in turn share your information with lenders, but only when you ask them to proceed with an application.

Referral fees. We may receive a referral fee from a specialist or lender when an introduction is made or when finance is arranged as a result. This does not change what you pay, and being matched through this website is free to you.

Service providers

We share information with suppliers who help us run the business, such as website hosting, form and CRM software, email and SMS delivery, and analytics and advertising platforms. They may only use it to provide their service to us.

Mobile number verification. When you enter your mobile number, we send it to a third-party verification service so that a one-time code can be sent to you by SMS and checked when you enter it. That provider receives your mobile number and the code, and nothing else. It does not receive your name, your email address or any of your answers. It processes the number on our instructions only. See section 10, as this processing takes place outside Australia.

Business name lookup. When you type your business name, the text you type is sent to the Australian Business Register (a Commonwealth Government service) to return matching businesses. No other information is sent with it.

Advertising platforms. We use the Meta Pixel and similar tools to measure whether our advertising works. See section 7.

Other disclosures

We may disclose information where required or authorised by law, to enforce our terms, to protect the rights or safety of any person, or in connection with a sale or restructure of our business.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not disclose it to unrelated third parties for their own marketing. The disclosure to the business finance specialist described above is the purpose of this service, is made with your consent, and may involve us receiving a referral fee as set out above.

6. Marketing and how to opt out

If you submit an enquiry we will contact you about that enquiry by phone, email or SMS. We will only send you marketing about other services if you ticked the optional box on the form, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth).

You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, replying STOP to any SMS, or emailing us at weboptifuse@gmail.com or calling +61 466 826 389. We will action it promptly. We may still need to contact you about an enquiry already in progress.

7. Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site and whether our advertising is effective. These tools may collect your IP address, device and browser details and the pages you view, and may set cookies that allow Meta or Google to recognise you across sites. This information is handled by those providers under their own privacy policies.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage advertising preferences through Meta Ad Preferences and Google Ads Settings. Disabling cookies does not stop the match check from working.

8. How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), stored with providers that maintain their own security programs, and access is limited to people who need it to do their job. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to match you, to deal with any follow-up, and to meet our record-keeping obligations, and in any case no longer than 2 years after your last contact with us, unless the law requires longer. Consent records are kept for as long as we rely on them. When information is no longer needed we destroy or de-identify it.

10. Overseas disclosure

We are an overseas operator. WebOptiFuse LLP is based in Pune, India, so the information you submit through this website is received and handled by our people in India, and stored on systems we access from India.

Some of our service providers also store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. This includes our website and form hosting, CRM and email tools, advertising platforms (Meta, Google) and the SMS verification service, which processes your mobile number through infrastructure operated by Cloudflare and an SMS gateway.

Where we handle or disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in a way consistent with the APPs, or we rely on your consent to that overseas handling, which you give by ticking the consent box on our form after reading the Privacy Collection Statement shown there. The business finance specialist we introduce you to operates in Australia under Australian law.

11. Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details in section 14. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. If we refuse a request we will tell you why in writing.

12. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Privacy Act or the APPs, please contact us first using the details below. We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Complaints about a specialist or lender you were introduced to should be raised with them directly. Licensed credit businesses are required to be members of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), afca.org.au.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the date it took effect. Material changes will be flagged on the website.
